3 Free Crochet Crown Applique Patterns

Do you need to decorate some things for little kings and queens? Or you are preparing for a party and this kind of applique will be useful to you. Or maybe you need an interesting decor for scapbooking?
In any of these cases, you will benefit from my free crochet crown applique patterns.
These are three very simple patterns, for which a small amount of yarn is enough and it will take only a couple of minutes to work. You can use any yarn that you have and make it any color, I prefer gold.

Material: 

I used Phildar Phil Coton 3 (50 g / 121 m) and 3 mm hook. But you can use any yarn.

Abbreviations:

CH – chain

SC – single crochet

DC – double crochet

TRC – treble crochet

sl.st. – slip stitch

Crochet Imperial Crown Pattern

Row 1: Ch 10, sc into second stitch from hook, 8 sc into each stitch.

Row 2,3: Ch 1, 9 sc into each stitch.

Row 4: Ch 7, skip 2 stitches 1 dc into third stitch, ch 5, skip 3 stitches 1 dc into 4th stitch, ch 7, sl st into first stitch of previews row.

Row 5: 16 sl st around the bottom of crown as shown in the pattern, 8 sc into ch-7 arch, 3 sc into ch-5 arch, picot, 3 sc into same ch-5 arch, 8 sc into ch-7 arch, sl st into first stitch of previews row. Fasten off.

Crochet King Crown Pattern

Row 1: Ch 10, 1 dc into third stitch from hook, 7 dc into each stitch.

Row 2: Ch 2, 8 dc into each stitch.

Row 3: Ch 2, 1 dc into next stitch, picot, ch 2, sl st into next stitch, ch 3, trc2tog (2 trc together), picot, ch 3, sl st into next stitch, ch 2, 1 dc into next stitch, picot, ch 2, sl st into next stitch. Fasten off.

Crochet Byzantine Crown Pattern

Row 1: Ch 8, sc into second stitch from hook, 6 sc into each stitch.

Row 2,3: Ch 1, 7 sc into each stitch.

Row 4: Ch 5, 5-dc Popcorn into first sc, ch 1, skip 2 stitches, 5-dc Popcorn into next stitch, ch 6, ( sl st into second stitch from hook, 2 sl st into next 2 stitches, ch 3, ) x times, 5 sl st, ch 1, skip 2 stitches, 5-dc Popcorn into next stitch, ch 5, sl st into first stitch of previews row. Fasten off.
