I keep talking about dolls and accessories for them. Today I am glad to share with you doll bag crochet pattern. This bag is quite small, so it will be good for small dolls like Kelly 4″, Barbie’s little sister. Perhaps you have already heard that this is my daughter’s favorite doll, so I make a lot of clothes and accessories for her. You can see my designs for Kelly doll at my etsy store.
If you use a thicker yarn, you get a larger bag. Yarn consumption is not big. And as a bonus, it’s REALLY fast and easy to make! So let’s start!
Material: I used cotton yarn 50 gr / 250 m and hook 1 mm.
How to crochet doll bag:
Round 1: Ch 8, sc into second stitch from hook, 5 sc, 4-sc into same stitch, 5 sc, 3-sc into same stitch, sl. st. into first sc.
Round 2: Ch 1, ( 7 sc, 2-sc into same stitch, 2-sc into same stitch) x 2 times, sl. st. into first sc.
Round 3: Ch 3 (count as dc), 7 dc, 3-dc into same stitch, 2-dc into same stitch, 9 dc, 3-dc into same stitch, 2-dc into same stitch, 1 dc, sl. st. into top of ch-3.
Round 4: Ch 1, 28 sc into each stitch arround, sl. st. into first sc.
Round 5: Ch 3 (count as dc), 27 dc into each stitch arround, sl. st. into top of ch-3.
Round 6: Ch 1, 28 sc into each stitch arround, sl. st. into first sc.
Round 7: Ch 1, 3 sc, Ch 5, skip 3 stitches, 11 sc, Ch 5, skip 3 stitches, 8 sc, sl. st. into first sc.
Round 8: 3 sl st, ch 1, 7 sc into ch-5 arch, 11 sl. st., ch 1, 7 sc into ch-5 arch, 8 sl. st. Fasten off.
You can decorate the doll bag with flower applique, beads or any other way you like. So my doll Kelly is ready to go to the beach. And yours? I would be glad to see your bags and read the comments.
